Who We Are

Chapter was born out of a desire to help schools tackle the challenges they face with their recruitment.

As the Education arm of public sector recruitment specialists Jobsgopublic, we are determined to take the stress out of school recruitment. We have combined two decades of recruitment experience with education HR expertise, to place ourselves in the best possible position to provide solutions that directly meet our clients’ needs.

Speaking to schools, academies and trusts across the UK, we hear the same thing again and again – the recruitment methods they’ve been using for many years just simply don’t work anymore.

The way we operate is very much a partnership. We take the time to understand where your recruitment is falling short, before recommending the products and services to suit your individual situation. This is not a ‘one size fits all’ operation, rather a one stop shop for any recruitment need.

We also recognise that whilst many experience very similar challenges, no two schools are exactly the same – that’s why our solutions can be used in any combination to directly match your individual situation.

Our Team

In developing our offer, we have brought together a unique mix of recruitment and HR experts as well as an incredible team of marketing professionals, software and web developers.

The Chapter team are headed up by our Head of Education Partnerships, Adele D’Silva. Adele is a CIPD and REC qualified HR professional and recruitment strategy expert. Fuelled by her passion for helping schools, academies, trusts and authorities attract and recruit the very best people, Adele has established herself as one of the leading figures in education recruitment.

Before joining Jobsgopublic and, subsequently, founding Chapter, Adele spent 15 years developing and implementing recruitment strategies linked directly to school improvement. This included 11 years working at London Borough of Havering as part of the education HR team.

During this time, Adele was also a lead advisor for Safer Recruitment, ensuring that education institutions’ recruitment processes were in line with government legislation and best practice. And as if that all wasn’t enough, Adele is also a chair of governors for a federation of schools, all of whom recently improved their Ofsted rating.
